A wireless fire alarm system from EMS has been certificated to the new European wireless link fire standard.
The company’s FireCell wireless fire alarm system is believed to be the first such product to be accredited to the EN54-25 standard Fire alarm detection and fire alarm systems: Components using radio links.
The fire alarm system is designed as a short-range, bi-directional communication link between fire devices and uses ‘smart cluster technology'. This technology incorporates a multi-frequency link designed to stop signal blocking and signal collision, says EMS, allowing closely synchronised transmissions with multi path availability.
The certificate was presented to EMS by test house Intertek at this week’s Firex South road show
Fire Systems Ltd who are a fire alarm company that specialise in wireless fire alarm systems will be interested in such a product.
EMS, has been at the forefront wireless fire alarm systems in this country for over 25 years. Fire Systems have installed many of their fire alarm systems and going on to offer fire alarm maintenance contract to these new clients..
Congratulations to EMS!
